Samsung has released two new smart watches

*The Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo  have a battery life lasting up to two to three days.

*These watches notify you when you get an email or text on your smartphone.

*The biggest difference between Samsung's old Gear watches and the new ones is how they were
released.

*Instead of holding a conference they introduced the new product all over the news.

Web 2.0

I am a student of Mr.Porfido. I am in his seventh period Web2.0 class. When i first entered this class i expected to learn how to improve my technology skills and learn more about computers. So far we have learned how to create a blog and post on it. The grading policy in Mr.Porfido's class is a very simple policy. It is 40% for formal assessments,40% for weekly projects,10% for homework, and 10% for informal assessments. If you do your work and apply yourself this class is an easy grade.
In this class IF we have to do a project I hope we will be able to work in groups. I feel that when I work in a group I feel more comfortable giving a presenation. In this class we use technology everyday. Each day we get our computers and work on the assignment that we were given. We sometimes work on our weekly tech article. If not we work on something else.
I have only been in this class for about a week and half but i have already learned so much. I have learned to make a blog and post on it. I would never have known how to do that if it weren't for this class. I can not wait to see what other technology skills i will learn over the course of this class. I enjoy this class and can't wait to see what is to come.

First Image From Gaia's Mission to Scan the Entire Sky
  2-7-14

*the first image captured by the Gaia telescope was a picture of the stars.

*it was a test image to help the European Space Agency improve the instrument  before they needed it for a real task.

*The picture was of a Large Magellanic Cloud.

*This picture may be the last because the task doesn't require sending full images back to Earth, instead it will scan the sky and send back data signals.
